What a great fun night we had. Matt Coonan organised an in house sparing night at the Commando Gym Long Jetty. Supported by Bob Mirovic and lots of local fighters.
One of the participants said: “[I] would just like to thank everyone who came to the fights, and helped out last night, awesome night! All the money raised will be going to charity to help kids on the street and to help youth unemployment. [I] had a great time fighting along side some great aussie fighters like supper middleweight champ Mark Bargero, and his son who’s also a pro, my boss Matt Coonan who fought heavyweight champ big Bob Mirovic – good show son! He also organized the whole event and dedicates alot of time towards helping youth – you’re a good man, champion – can’t wait to find out how much money we raised and can’t wait to do it all again. #chopndrop”
Kirra says: “So proud of my hubby. He did such a good job organising this event, had a great turn out, fought Bob Mirovic, and to top it off raised funds to go towards training and equipping the unemployed youth of the coast.
