Hi there friends and family! It’s been a while since I’ve been in contact. Hope you are being positioned to receive, rest and walk in the goodness and power of God’s love for us in Jesus…daily. Below my email is an email regarding the work God is doing in Japan. It gives a lot of fresh insight into some of the deep things Holy Spirit is doing in revealing the love of Jesus and the Father heart of God to the people of Japan. Just want to give each of you a quick update about myself before you read on: Currently I am working to save money for a return to Japan to continue to serve God and the believers in greater Tokyo. So far I have saved (with the help of a generous donation from an un-named person(s)) enough for a plane ticket there. I will still be working here in Australia in the mean time to save enough to also tie me over for about two months whilst I am in Japan looking for work. Whilst looking for work I will also be available to help out with Cornerstone Tokyo and various things that are part of what God is doing and wanting to do there. I feel led to put out an invitation to each of you to ask God to reveal to you the ways in which you might contribute to the work He is doing in Japan. Whether financially, prayerfully, or perhaps even through coming to Japan on a short trip to connect with the family of God there and get a taste of God’s heart for the people of Japan, and indeed His heart for you and your life’s calling. (If you come, I’ll even take you out to one or a few of my personal favorite places of eatery in Tokyo) ;0) With 127.8 million people in Japan with over 99% still needing salvation, there is a dire need where God’s timing for you and your life may be intimately intertwined with God’s timing for Japan and the life of the “one” there. I will continue to keep you updated with future progress including the practical financial side of things, as well as the timing of my departure for Japan. Please be encouraged to know that every prayer, every word, every thought, and every dollar that you give towards the work of salvation in Japan is very much likened to “loving our neighbour as we love ourselves”…the intimately linked command flowing from “loving God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength.” There is no pressure to give, but rather a hope and desire of overflow out of the peace that comes from Jesus himself. I also want to give thanks to God for: A car lent to me to drive whilst here in Australia. The job I currently have. The person driving me to and from work. The place where I am staying and the lovely family I am blessed with there. Recent financial gift from an un-named person(s). The family of God in Japan doing the work and listening to God’s voice and heart… and finally each of you for your passion and willingness to simply follow Jesus on a daily basis. All of this I thank God for as He is the one from whom all life begins, and is held together by all for His good, pleasing, and perfect will. Be blessed my brothers and sisters in Jesus, and may you ever be led by the peace of Jesus as we believe for salvation to come to Japan in greater, deeper measure, and indeed in your very own “neck of the woods”.
