News From Uganda

10th March, 2013

Our SALT School junior group (Semester 2) commenced this morning with a review of our teaching on time alone with God (we call it the Secret Place.) After a time of review we asked students for testimonies of the things they have learned over recent months as they sought the Lord.

Another great week with God’s servants here in Uganda. This time it was our graduates turn for some encouragement and input. It is incredible to listen to the testimonies of these men and women and what has happened in their lives since they graduated SALT School. New churches planted, amazing healing and so much more. Our SALT School junior group (Semester 2) commenced this morning with a review of our teaching on time alone with God (we call it the Secret Place.) After a time of review we asked students for testimonies of the things they have learned over recent months as they sought the Lord. One student shared how she has been healed of HIV/AIDS (with the papers to prove it) after following our teaching about seeking God in the Secret Place as a regular discipline of life. As part of the time with the Lord she wrote a letter to Jesus asking her to heal her. Another has also been healed of the same thing only the doctors are waiting another test to confirm the healing and that can only be completed in Kampala. This is simply because they have never seen HIV/AIDS healed before. She too discovered a new relationship with God having learned to seek him more intimately in the Secret Place Another went home from last school to find a new Christian to nurture – as we had taught her in the school. On the way home she met a lady who had been sent home from hospital to die of terminal cancer. She led her to the Lord and prayed for her healing. Again the doctors are confounded because this one who should be dead is alive and walking and improving by the day. Our student has not only nurtured the ‘patient’ but is now ministering to her husband and son. And this is just some of the testimonies from an amazing morning. Hallelujah!
